'Game of Thrones,' 'Stranger Things' score Best Drama Golden Globe nominations

The 2018 Golden Globe nominations were announced this morning, and — as per usual when it comes to the Globes — there were certainly some surprises.

On the TV side, Amazon's just-released new outing The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (by Gilmore Girls scribe Amy Sherman-Palladino) made a strong showing, and is likely the early favorite for comedy actress, as this awards program loves to nominate a breakout ingenue.*
