PPP not part of move to oust govt: Khursheed
 

SUKKUR: PPP stalwart and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah Saturday said his party was not part of efforts to remove the PML-N-led government. In a statement, he said the incumbent government must complete its constitutional tenure and the general elections should be held on time, Geo reported. Khursheed claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan had started fearingthe PPP after its show of power in Islamabad on December 5. ?Imran thought the PPP had dissolved, but he was caught unawares by our power show in Islamabad. Now he is scared,? Khursheed said.He said the PPP was a grass-roots party that always fulfilled its promises made with the masses. Reacting to the PTI chief?s criticism of the PPP rally in Islamabad, he said: ?Imran Khan should first save his back and then talk about others. He should explain who is funding his party,? he said.
