LAHORE: Federal Law Minister Zahid Hamid called on Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif here on Sunday.

Sources said that the meeting that lasted about one hour deliberated upon the situation that had arisen after the crackdown on protesters in Islamabad.

They claimed that after the meeting two federal ministers including Zahid Hamid and a woman parliamentarian are likely to resign over the next 24 hours.

Initially, the dharna leaders had demanded resignation of the law minister.
