Rain causes waterlogging at Konark Sun Temple

Several tourists were seen wading through waterlogged premises of the 13th century monument in Puri. Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) had installed three pumps last month to drain out rainwater at the historical monument. The problem, however, remained unsolved. After drawing flak from all quarters, ASI and Odisha government have engaged a consultant to prepare a master plan to get rid of the waterlogging issue at the world heritage site.
