Sony's pursuit of David Fincher to direct its Steve Jobs biopic has reportedly hit a snag — but that doesn't mean he won't wind up doing it, sources tell Mashable.

The Hollywood Reporter on Monday reported that Fincher's demands for a $10 million upfront fee and creative control has the studio looking to replace the director. But as he was never technically on the movie, neither is he technically off it, either.
