There's an easter egg hidden in plain sight in Super Mario Odyssey and it has some fans theorizing about potential new content coming to the game.

Hint Toad appears in every single kingdom in Super Mario Odyssey to help Mario find power moons (for a price), and he's always holding a map of what most would assume is that current kingdom. Twitter user Frying_Pants pointed out that it's actually a map of a level in Super Mario 64, the first 3D Super Mario game from 1996.
