Fort Hood Shooter Bought Gun at Same Store as Maj. Nidal Hasan, Reports Say

The .45 Smith & Wesson semiautomatic pistol used in Wednesday's shooting at the Fort Hood military base in Killeen, Tex., was purchased at a store called Guns Galore, military officials say, according to NBC News, ABC, and the Washington Post

It's the same retailer tied to the 2009 Fort Hood rampage — Maj. Nidal Hasan bought his FN 5-7 tactical pistol there — and stands alone on Killeen's South Fort Hood St., with a red-and-white awning out front. Hasan has been sentenced to death for the shooting, which killed 13 people and wounded 32 more.
