Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. plans to offer a summer course on Miley Cyrus, entitled "The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media."

Visiting Assistant Professor Carolyn Cher**ff will be teaching the class about the 21-year-old pop-star. Cher**ff was apparently inspired to teach the class following Cyrus' iconic MTV Video Music Awards performance, local paper The Saratogian reports

“I was teaching a course called 'Youth Culture In and Out of School,' and the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) became the twerk heard ’round the world,” Cher**ff said. “I showed that video to my class, and the students had so much to say.” Read more...
