Or so claim the latest reports about Wonder Woman 2. According to Screen Rant and TheWrap, the DC superhero sequel will take place in the midst of the Cold War, with Diana battling the Soviet Union. This would seem to square with Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins' recent suggestion that the sequel will be set in more "contemporary" times.

In addition, Screen Rant has heard that Chris Pine will be back as Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman 2, which is a bit surprising. She may be an ageless immortal, but he definitely is **t. Then again, this is a comic book movie – stranger things have happened. Or maybe we're thinking too big and this is just a flashback.
