The menacing foes have come out in full force in the first trailer for action film Hercules

The clip arrived Tuesday, giving viewers a glimpse at Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson's portrayal of the title character and his battles against the ferocious monsters of mythical Greece

Among the hero's enemies is an e**rmous lion who quickly falls victim to Hercules' brute strength and becomes quite the elaborate headpiece, as seen below in this still:
