Soldier killed in mortar attack
 

GHALLANAI: A soldier was killed and a**ther sustained injuries in a mortar shell attack in Baizai subdivision in Mohmand Agency on Sunday, official sources said. They said two soldiers were fetching water from a nearby stream in Soran Darra in Baizai area when two mortar shells fired from an undisclosed location hit them.One soldier was killed on the spot while a**ther sustained injuries. The injured was shifted to a hospital where he was was stated to be stable.
