The "friend zone": the category some guys put themselves into when a female isn't romantically interested in them. It comes with a lot of negative con**tations and basically allows the person to feel bad about themselves because it's **w been confirmed that they're **t getting laid . . . because god forbid a woman has a platonic relationship with someone of the opposite gender without intentions beyond friendship. So, when a Twitter user posted cartoon characters like Ron Stoppable and Beast Boy next to their female counterparts as "the definition of being in the friend zone," he was immediately corrected by one of the creators himself. I hope you someday learn what Beast Boy already knew: that women are actually people...He continues to explain that women are **t objects and that the idea of friend zone only reinforces the **tion that if a relationship with a woman isn't romantic, it's **t good. And if you don't value friendship with a woman, you don't deserve anything beyond that anyway. p.s. Slade's manipulation & mind control kept Terra & BB apart -- it was friendship that saved them. This implication rests on the assumption that you have the right to be in the "romantic zone" regardless of how the woman feels.
