Former bank manager gets life term for fraud
 

KARACHI: A Special Banking Court convicted and awarded life imprisonment to a former manger of a private bank on Thursday for misusing his authority and transferring huge sums from the accounts of some customers to others. The court **ted that as bank manger of MCB’s Saira Central Branch, Gujdar Anad transferred money from some customers’ accounts to other accounts fraudulently, causing a big loss to the bank. Sentencing the convict to a life term, the court also imposed a fine of Rs100 million on him. Six account holders who were also tried over fraud charges were found in**cent and acquitted.
