An incident near Finsbury Park Mosque in London in which a man died and 10 people were injured after a man drove a van into worshippers is being treated as a "terrorist attack," Met Police confirmed.*

The first media reports were naturally wary of describing it as a terror incident — the headline on the first BBC story was "Vehicle hits pedestrians in Finsbury Park" — as they were waiting for more details to trickle in.*
