Sharifs have lost match before JIT: Imran
Says their mainstay, Qatari prince, is **t coming
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan Saturday claimed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had lost the match before JIT as their only mainstay Qatari Prince was **t coming to Pakistan for testimony before the probing body. He said that their real ‘residence’ will be in Adiala Jail. He claimed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif had lost the match before Joint Investigation Team (JIT). Talking to the journalists here, after chairing the party meeting, Imran charged that both the brothers staged dramas after coming out of JIT, as the Sharifs had ** evidence regarding their London properties and only Begum Kalsoom Nawaz had told the truth to an English daily that these were purchased for their children who were studying in London. Imran pointed out that four of the ministers had also said on the media that the London apartments were purchased in 1990s, while Nawaz Sharif and his children made conflicting statements on different occasions. He said that the Sharifs were subjected to injustice and still their children became billionaires. “The children of Sharifs were **w busy in making money in the Punjab and who can stop them,” he wondered. He said that the entire nation was devastated due to corruption and annually Rs1,000 billion was going out through money laundering: same money could be invested in Pakistan and this would generate jobs. Imran alleged that the Sharif family had been involved in corruption for the last 30 years and one could see their assets before coming to power and after that. “To make money after coming to power is corruption and from one factory to 30 factories were made and this is what corruption is,” he said. He charged that their children were **w making money in the Punjab and wondered who would compete with them and added all the institutions were under the Sharifs. He claimed their four sugar mills were shifted to prohibited cotton-growing areas and the High Court had also given its decision in this connection. Imran asserted that by doing cheap gestures and by wearing Panama hat, they could **t become ‘victims’. He added if Shahbaz thought he would befool the nation by wearing the Panama hat and a suit that there was ** corruption case against him, he was in the wrong. He claimed there were 12 corruption cases against Nawaz and one against Shahbaz in the NAB. He challenged Shahbaz by calling him ‘Molzim-e-Aala’, what conspiracy was being hatched against him. He lamented that Nawaz and Shahbaz had shown their father as a money launderer and tax evader while tracing the history of their assets and wealth. Meanwhile, PTI Chairman Imran Khan welcomed Ahmed Yar Hiraj’s decision to join PTI and stated that his joining would help the party gain strength in District Khanewal Earlier, talking to media, PTI senior leader MNA Asad Umar said State Minister for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali was demanding accountability of the corrupt people and then reminded him that he was a minister and they had their own government and who stopped them from proceeding against the corrupt. “To go after the law-breakers and the corrupt is the job of this government, of which is Aid Sher Ali a part,” he maintained. PTI Spokesperson Fawad Chaudhry seconded the statement of Shahbaz Sharif that his family had made a record of appearing before the JIT and ridiculed that indeed it was a record that so many members of a single family had appeared as accused. http://feeds.feedburner.com/~r/com/cwEr/~4/aG3f9g01qCw أكثر... |
