ndd Medical Tech**logies, a company with ******s in Andover, MA and*Zurich, Switzerland, is releasing a new professional spirometer for primary care physicians. The EasyOne Air uses the company’s TrueFlow ultrasound tech**logy that does **t require any calibration or maintenance, allowing it to be used for years. It has a rechargeable battery that’s replenished when connected to a base station, and when disconnected it can be carried in one hand.

A color touchscreen is used to select settings and to review the readings, which are also interpreted to the ATS/ERS guidelines.

The spirometer can connect to in-clinic EMRs to upload its readings via a Bluetooth connection to a paired PC or via a USB cable.

It has received both U.S. FDA and CE Mark approval in Europe earlier this year.
