Popeyes an**unced the national release of their new Sweet & Crunchy Tenders, and we're pretty sure this idea was born from a **t-so-sober late night fridge raid involving a chicken drumstick and a tub of cookie dough. *

The new treat isn't exactly the cookie-chicken mashup you're imagining (we were picturing an ice cream sandwich of sorts, but with chicken instead of ice cream). The tenders are made with a shortbread cookie coating that gives the chicken its sweet taste and crunchy texture.*
