Defamation case lodged against Nehal Hashmi
 

KARACHI: The Bahadurabad police have registered an FIR against Nehal Hashmi, former senator of the Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N), for delivering a defamatory speech against the judiciary and government officials.

Station House ******r (SHO) Khush**od of the Bahadurabad Police Station said that on May 28, the former senator of the PML-N had delivered a defamatory speech against the judiciary and the government officials at the Muslim League House situated in the Bahadurabad area in which he had criticised the judiciary and the probing team officials.

He added that they had also gathered footages from the electronic media that also confirm that former senator Nehal Hashmi had delivered the defamatory speech. In this regard, they have registered an FIR against him on behalf of the State for defamation.
