Google Glass Coming to Rhode Island Emergency Room to Help Diag**se Skin Conditions

Google Glass is a controversial tech**logy when used in public, but it’s intriguing to see how it can be put to practice in professional applications. One pilot project being initiated at the Rhode Island Hospital involves using Google Glass in the emergency room to connect with live remote dermatologists whenever their expertise is needed.

An ER doc will wear Google Glass while talking to the dermatologist who will be seeing a live picture of what the ER doc is seeing. The dermatologist will be able to guide any appropriate exams and will have the opportunity to make a diag**sis or determine a further course of action.
