FBR proposes 10pc, 12.5pc and 15pc slabs for tax
 

https://www.thenews.com.pk/assets/up...2559_print.jpg ISLAMABAD: The FBR proposed three different slabs for imposition of tax earned through profit on dent at 10 percent, 12.5 percent and 15 percent. Through Finance Bill 2017-18, the FBR proposed that where profit on debt does **t exceed Rs5000000 the proposed rate will be standing at 10 percent. Where profit on debt exceeds Rs5000000 but does **t exceed Rs25000000, the proposed tax rate will be 12.5 percent. Where profit on debt exceeds Rs25000000 the proposed rate will be standing at 15 percent in financial year 2017-18.
