ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah Wednesday said clash between state institutions was **t a good omen for the country and politics. “Clash between the institutions is always dangerous and institutions should avoid contempt of each other as well as action against the national security,” he said while talking to media persons here at his chamber at the Parliament House. “Inquiry report on the Leaks should be made public so that everyone k**ws who is the real culprit,” he said. The opposition leader said the Prime Minister’s House was involved in the Leaks. Asked whether the PPP supports the ISPR tweet, Khursheed Shah said the PPP did **t stand with the ISPR tweet but with the institution. “The government should avoid confrontation with other institutions of the country as ** institution has the right to cross its constitutional limits,” he added. Khursheed Shah said the chairman Pemra has raised a serious and concerning issue. “Who are those people who consider themselves above the law,” he questioned. To a question regarding the possibility of early election, the opposition leader said he did **t see such a possibility, but claimed that the PPP is in a position to keep its majority in the next Senate elections. Khursheed Shah demanded the government to summon the National Assembly session to take parliament into confidence on the tense situation on the borders and brief parliament on its diplomatic positions. “The government should tell parliament about its diplomatic efforts and what it was doing to ease the tensions at the borders as we still do **t k**w what is the diplomatic agenda of the government,” he said, adding that in its four years, the government did **t have a foreign minister. He said the firing by the Afghan forces in Chaman on the people who were conducting the population census is a serious issue. Meanwhile, within hours after the DawnLeaks issue Wednesday settled between the government and Pakistan Army, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan reiterated his demand to make the inquiry report public, saying the nation was being ‘kept in the dark’. In a ****** of tweets to register his reaction to the statements over the issue by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) and the Interior Ministry, Imran said the issue was about national security, and the nation needed to k**w what was ‘settled’. “The nation is being kept in dark on how national security breach was resolved. Manner in which Leaks issue resolved shows clearly there is one law for the powerful and a**ther law for the weak,” he retorted. Citing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, Imran **ted that she lost because of security issue over her email leaks. He said the dreary round of keeping the nation in the dark prevails and that the nation must k**w how the national security breach issue had been resolved. Meanwhile, Imran an**unced to submit all the records of London flats and the purchase of land in Banigala, Islamabad, before the Supreme Court. Opposition Leader in the Senate Aitzaz Ahsan said that there was **thing new in the **tification issued by the Interior Ministry and that the names of the persons included were the same who had been made the scapegoats in this case.
