Nisar forwards Leaks report to PM
 

https://www.thenews.com.pk/assets/up...5251_print.jpg ISLAMABAD: Minister for Interior Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan on Wednesday forwarded the Dawnleaks inquiry committee report to the prime minister.

The recommendations of the report have been made unanimously by all the members of the committee. The report was completed in over six months, during which the committee met six times, a statement issued here said.

The committee headed by Justice (R) Amir Raza Khan, included Establishment Division Secretary Tahir Shahbaz, Punjab Ombudsman Najam Saeed, Lahore Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Director Usman Anwar and a representative each of Military Intelligence, Inter Services Intelligence and Intelligence Bureau.

The committee initially constituted a sub-committee, which was headed by the Establishment Division secretary. The sub-committee met 16 times for examination of witnesses and scrutiny of all the record. Action on the recommendations would be taken after approval by the prime minister, the statement added.
