Hotel, 20 shops gutted in Matiari fire

The fire erupted late on Wednesday night and engulfed several shops and a hotel in Bhit Shah's timber market.

However, firefighters timely sprang into action and doused the fire. Fortunately, ** loss of life was reported in its wake.

The cause of the blaze could **t be ascertained, officials said.
