Kerry: That ‘re-set’ thing with Russia was a long time ago; This is a different time

**w comes the part where the Obama administration starts to pretend their 2009 “re-set button” for U.S./Russia relations to kick off a new era of global “Hope & Change” was “long ago” (video at the link):

DAVID GREGORY: Before I get to my final question on Israel with a big meeting with Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister, coming to meet with President Obama, Marco Rubio is on this program in just a few minutes saying it’s time for the administration to publicly ack**wledge that the reset with Russia is dead. Do you ack**wledge that?

SECRETARY OF STATE JOHN KERRY: Well, I don’t k**w what you mean by the reset.

GREGORY: The reset in relations that this administration called for.

KERRY: I k**w, but long ago, we’ve entered into a different phase with Russia. I don’t think this is a moment to be proclaiming one thing or the other.

The “different phase” Kerry refers to is k**wn in some circles as “reality.”

The “re-set button” offer to Russia was of course part of President Obama and Hillary Clinton’s “world peace through cheap plastic **velty gifts” initiative.

Meanwhile, as far as a U.S. response to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine goes, Kerry said this morning that “all options are on the table.” Here’s the table (click image to enlarge):

Bonus Kerry from Meet the Press today: “That is **t the act of somebody who is strong. That is the act of somebody who is acting out of weakness.”
