Of course: CMS official says number of previously uninsured enrolling in O-care coverage ‘**t a data point we’re collecting’
**Written by Doug Powers During the big sales pitch for Obamacare, Americans were told that its primary purpose was to insure the uninsured. How’s that going? The survey released Thursday by the McKinsey & Co. consulting firm found that only 27 percent of people who have selected a plan on the new exchanges didn’t previously have coverage. Why hasn’t the Obama administration said how many enrollees previously didn’t have health insurance? According to the CMS head of the Obamacare exchanges, they’re **t tracking that data: Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) deputy administrator Gary Cohen, who directs the agency’s health insurance reform unit, said that CMS is **t tracking information about previously uninsured enrollees. It’s only the main premise for the entire law, so why track that information? Of course they k**w the number. (h/t Twitchy) **Written by Doug Powers Twitter @ThePowersThatBe http://feeds.feedburner.com/~ff/mich...?d=H0mrP-F8Qgo |
