The Seriously Concerning Reason Frozen Hash Browns Have Been Recalled

Two kinds of frozen hash browns have been recalled for a seriously bizarre reason: they could contain pieces of golf balls. Yep, you read that right. Both the Roundy's brand and Harris Teeter brand of frozen Southern-style hash browns were recalled because of possible golf ball contamination, or "extraneous golf ball materials," as McCain Foods **ted in its recall statement. The affected products are as follows.

While ** injuries have been reported, McCain Foods urges consumers **t to eat the hash browns if they have them and instead to return them to the store or throw them away.
