United Airlines CEO Oscar Mu**z is being re-accommodated from a seat he was led to believe would be his.

The beleaguered boss, whose fumbled apologies following the David Dao controversy made everything so much worse for United, will **t chair the company board in 2018.

United an**unced the news in a regulatory filing Friday, Reuters reported. The official line is that Mu**z opted to leave "future determinations related to the chairman position to the discretion of the board."
