Although Bill Nye has graced the television screens for years, he's **t immune to a super awkward moment on air. In fact, he seems to attract them.

Nye went on Today on Wednesday to share some "fun facts" because Saturday is Earth Day, and science!

Right from the start, host Kathie Lee Gifford seemed visibly an**yed with Nye, even slumping in her chair as Nye tried to answer questions and respond. It's **t clear if maybe something happened before they went on air, or if the segment was crunched for time and Nye didn't read the situation well, but either way it was super awkward.*
