Nawaz failed to fulfil promises made before polls: Bilawal

Speaking to the local party leaders at the Bilawal House, Lahore, he vehemently criticised the privatisation policies of the federal government. “We can**t leave the masses at the mercy and whims of the current anti-people government,” he said adding, “The promises Nawaz Sharif made before the polls have **t been fulfilled.”

He said the Pakistani people are eagerly waiting for the Supreme Court's verdict in the Panama Leaks case. According to reports, in view of making Punjab the political centre, Bilawal Zardari will stay for a week in Lahore. The PPP chairman is expected to chair meetings of the party's south Punjab membership drive.

On Friday, Bilawal will reach Kharian to attend the wedding ceremony of daughter of the party leader Qamar Zaman Kaira. Meanwhile, Pakistan People’s Party has taken back its support for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's candidate in the by-election on PP-23 Chakwal-IV, which is scheduled to be held on April 18.

Speaking to Geo News, PPP's Central Information Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor said that the decision **t to support the PTI was taken after consultation with the local party ****** bearers. “The PTI first requested us for support, then levelled baseless allegations. They need to learn political etiquette and should refrain from politics of blame game,” he said.
