Shahbaz launches power projects to make money: Pervaiz
 

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Q central leader Ch Pervaiz Elahi has said the PML-Q will construct the Kalabagh Dam and provide electricity to consumers for Rs3 per unit instead of Rs16 while agricultural tube-well will get free power.

After construction of the dam, Sindh will get maximum sweet water whereas Punjab will get water after Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces. “We will also end the war among the provinces,” he said while addressing a grand workers convention in Sargodha on Wednesday.

Pervaiz said the prime minister went abroad for treatment after winning election twice from Sargodha, whereas, in the district headquarters hospital, 100 newborns had died due to unavailability of incubator. "We had got constructed here agriculture university and medical college. **w we will construct a cardiology hospital where rulers will also get treatment," he said. The present rulers are **t making electricity but money, he said. He said the rulers had also committed eco**mic murder of farmer.

He further said Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif launches power projects just to fill his own pockets. Talking about his 36 years long association with late Anwar Ali Cheema, Pervaiz paid rich tributes to him and said the works which Cheema had done, all members of the assembly from Sargodha could **t do that in even 20 years, and such a big gathering at the convention was ample proof of his unforgettable services and people’s love for Aamir Sultan and Muneeb Sultan.

He said, “Previously we had provided education and medicines free and abolished tax on five marlas, **w we will give free education up to BA”. He expressed his heartfelt grief over the loss of 22 precious lives in Sargodha tragedy and six in Lahore.

He stated that they did **t do politics but serve the people. He said if the people make PML-Q victorious, once again the country would become prosperous. He said despite all the tall claims of the present rulers, the country was still facing the worst-ever electricity loadshedding. He said government hospitals and educational institutions were in a very bad condition. He said the prime minister was issuing health cards but where poor patients should go with the health card.

He alleged Dolphin Force of the PML-N government itself was looting the people. "All our projects of public welfare and services, including 1122, are still running even today but all the present rulers’ schemes and projects have died their death. There is lesser demand for electricity in winter so they claim loadshedding has been reduced, when there is ** electricity in summer, they put whole blame on weather and say they will reduce loadshedding next year," said the PML-Q senior leader.

He said the rulers were engaged in making money and **t electricity. He said so far 9. 5 billion dollars had far been sunk in eight flop electricity projects while there is misappropriation worth billions in every project.

PML-Q Secretary General Tariq Bashir Cheema said, "The ruling party had got our banners and posters ******* overnight. Such acts will **t work. Love for Anwar Ali Cheema and Ch Pervaiz Elahi in the hearts of the people can**t be reduced." He said the government was afraid that time was running out of their hands.

On this occasion, Aamir Sultan Cheema presented welcome address and Ch Muneeb Sultan Cheema greeted the guests. Muhammad Ali Gujjar and Malik Shakeel Sikander presented report about performance of PML-Q Sargodha. Ch Zaheeruddin, Muhammad Basharat Raja, Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi, Abdul Qayyum, Sajida Sarfaraz and Zulfiqar Pappan were also present.

The workers convention was participated by thousands of workers, including youths, farmers, women and ulema wings workers. All of them had come in processions chanting slogans enthusiastically.
