What at first looked like your average run-of-the-mill way-too-f*cking-expensive-because-it's-a-joke eBay auction has since become shrouded in mystery, but we'll start at the beginning — the surprise premiere of Rick and Morty.*

On Sunday evening, a listing for "1998 McDonalds Mulan Szechuan McNugget Dipping Sauce" went up on eBay after the Season 3 premiere of cult phe**me**n Rick and Morty aired on Adult Swim's website on April 1. (The listing has since been taken down.)*
