Risqué 'Lipstick Under My Burkha' scoops award at Glasgow Film Festival
 

Indian filmmaker Alankrita Shrivastava?s Lipstick Under My Burkha has won the Audience Award at the Glasgow Film Festival 2017. The director says the ho**ur couldn?t be better timed.

Lipstick Under My Burkha has been denied a certificate by the country?s movie censor board, essentially barring it from release.

Scottish actor David Tennant presented Shrivastava with the award, which was voted for by the festival?s audience, on Monday.
