Kid Cudi, who leapt into our lives with all those years ago with his breakout track "Day 'n' Nite," has checked himself into rehab on Monday for depression and "suicidal urges."

The rapper posted a lengthy statement about his decision on his Facebook page on Tuesday night *Scott Mescudi, explaining that he was "ashamed" of "living a lie."*

"I am **t at peace. I haven't been since you've k**wn me. If I didn't come here, I would've done something to myself. I simply am a damaged human swimming in a pool of emotions everyday of my life," he wrote. Read more...
