The disabled given cheques

NANKANA SAHIB: The district government in collaboration with an organisation held a ceremony and gave cheques to the disabled at DCO ****** Nankana on Tuesday.

Addressing the ceremony, DCO Saira Umar said it is our moral duty to support the disabled to make them useful members of society.

District Social Welfare ******r Shahbir Hussain said Rs 500,000 were given to twenty six disabled persons so that they may start any small business.

MPA Malik Zulqarnain Dogar, DOC Chaudhry Muhammad Shahzad Ahmad, deputy district social welfare ******r Shahid Waseer and manager of the organisation Muhammad Tahir Khokhar also attended the ceremony.
