From the procession of protesters marching in front of tooled up cops under stormy skies in Ferguson to a devastating shot of a small crouching boy surveying a tribute for Michael Brown, Do **t Resist is **t short on powerful moments.

The documentary, fêted at film festivals and in theaters nationwide starting Friday, aims to shine a military grade spotlight on the issue of police militarization in the U.S. and it does just that.
