LOS ANGELES — MTV is delving deeper into the digital space with a new docu-****** dedicated to internet subcultures and the people who create them.

Owning It, which Mashable got an exclusive look at (below), mixes first person interview footage with surreal animation.

The ****** was created and developed by Kim Thai. She, Colin Helms and Garth Bardsley serve as executive producers for MTV.

Check out the first episode, which follows a college student who discovers how to create an alternate personality.
