Google will help you register to vote with a new 'Doodle'

Google Doodle is joining the likes of Rock the Vote, Facebook, and Snapchat to get you to register to vote.*

Just in time for National Voter Registration Day — and Monday's presidential debate — Google launched an interactive doodle that delivers information about how to vote. Visitors to Google.com Monday will see a message saying "Register to vote" in English, Spanish and Simplified Chinese. If they click it, they'll be taken to a page with more information.

It's a similar approach to Facebook's "register **w" button, which redirected users to vote.usa.gov. Users could also share that they were registered, encouraging their friends to do so. Snapchat also got in on this initiative by partnering with TurboVote to give users celebrity-sponsored advertisements with registration information. Read more...
