4,600 cops to be deployed for anti-polio campaign
 

PESHAWAR: Over 4,600 policemen would be deployed in Peshawar for three-day anti-polio vaccination campaign in the district that kicks off today.Strict security arrangements have been made for the campaign, during which all the under five kids will be vaccinated against polio. The divisional superintendents of police will be the overall in-charge of the security. The cops will perform duty along with the vaccination teams and patrol the streets till the drive finishes. The rapid response unit, Elite Force and other special forces will remain alert to respond to any untoward incident.
