LHWs stage demo in Nankana

NANKANA SAHIB: More than 200 lady health workers (LHWs) staged a demonstration in favour of their demands outside the DCO ****** here on Wednesday.

The LHWs said that their department took extra duty and work from them without any compensation. During the demonstration, three LHWs Sabira, Safia and Shazia fell unconscious. They were shifted to the DHQ Hospital. Meanwhile, DCO Saira Umar reached the spot and held talks with the protesters. She assured them of resolve their issues.
