US envoy, Farooq Sattar exchange views on Karachi situation *
 

KARACHI: US Consul General Grace Shelton held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan leader Dr Farooq Sattar on Wednesday.

The US envoy and Dr Farooq Sattar, in the meeting held at MQM Pakistan’s ****** in P.I.B Colony, exchanged views on prevailing political and Karachi situation.

Grace W. Shelton assumed charge as the new US consul general in Karachi on September 08.

The meeting was held a day after MQM Rabitta Committee Pakistan decided to revoke the membership of senior party leaders present in London.

Deputy Convener MQM London Nadeem Nusrat and workers Wasay Jalil, Mustafa Azizabadi and Qasim Ali Raza were sacked from the Rabita Committee.

The Rabita Committee also decided that any member who would go against the policy guidelines, promulgated on August 23, 2016, will be sacked from the Rabita Committee.
