Protest against price magistrate

NANKANA SAHIB: Shopkeepers protested against a special price control magistrate at Chak 5 on Tuesday.

Reportedly, magistrate Dr Asif Hamayun fined shopkeepers on charges of overcharging.

This act of the magistrate infuriated the shopkeeper and they protested against him and blocked the Nankana-Shahkot Road.

Later, district ******r civil defence Mubashir Rabbani and a heavy contingent of police arrived and held negotiations with the protesters. After some time the protesters dispersed.
