The Emmy verdict is in, with Sterling K. Brown emerging as winner of Best Supporting actor in a limited ****** or movie for American Crime Story: The People v. O.J. Simpson.

"A lot of you may **t have k**wn who I was but you checked the box anyway, and that makes me very, very happy," Brown said to the Television Academy in his acceptance speech.

Brown is the first black actor to win in this category since Jeffrey Wright's 2004 win for Angels in America.
