3 MQM representatives probed in Central Jail
 

KARACHI: Investigation pertaining to the inflammatory speech of MQM founder Altaf Hussain and the subsequent attack on a private news channel's ******, was conducted against three representatives of the party at Central Jail on Thursday.

Jail sources confirmed that MQM members Qamar Mansoor, Qamar Naveed Jamil and Shahid Pasha were investigated with regard to MQM founder Altaf Hussain's anti-Pakistan speech on August 22 and the subsequent attack on the ****** of a private news channel.

Qamar Naveed Jamil had said that on August 22 when MQM founder Altaf Hussain had delivered an anti-Pakistan speech to his riled up supporters, he was conducting political meetings. Hence, he maintained the position that he was neither aware of Altaf Hussain's speech **r the subsequent violence that ensued.

Shahid Pasha said that when the attack had taken place on the private news channel's ******, he was at MQM headquarter Nine Zero.

On August 22, MQM founder Altaf Hussain delivered an anti-Pakistan speech to his supporters at a hunger strike camp and encouraged them to attack the ******s of private news channels, which prompted party loyalists and workers to attack a private news channel's ****** in Sadar.
