PM Nawaz, COAS Gen Raheel discuss security issues
 

ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Raheel Sharif met Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif here on Friday to discuss law and order situation in the country.

According to details, PM Nawaz Sharif expressed satisfaction on the ongoing military operations against the terrorists. He said that army has played an important role in order to defeat terrorism from the region.

Army Chief briefed the PM over border management affairs along Pak-Afghan border. Both reaffirmed government’s commitment to root out militancy and extremism from the country.
