Zayn Malik cancels show due to anxiety
 

It’s refreshing to see celebrities treating their fans with a little bit of dignity when they open up about real issues that need to be talked about. Very few stars have opened up about mental health in the past. Last year, superstar Deepika Padukone opened up about her battle with anxiety and depression, a huge step forward for the removal of stigmas around mental health.

**w it seems that Zayn Malik is also being more forward and honest with his fans after explaining the reason behind the cancellation of his show at Autism Rocks Arena, Dubai, which was to be held on October 7th. He explained in a **te to his fans: “Dear Fans, I have been working over the last three months to overcome my extreme anxiety around major live solo performances. I feel I am making progress but I have today ack**wledged that I do **t feel sufficiently confident to move forward with the planned show in Dubai in October.”

He further added, “I am truly sorry to disappoint you. I hope to see you all soon. Thank you to all my fans who support me globally.”

Currently, Malik is working on developing a TV ****** for NBC which will talk about his life and experiences with One Direction. The drama will also offer a look into the excitement and competition as well as the pressures of being in a successful group, reports Variety.
