4 from a single family killed in Jacobabad
 

JACOBABAD: Four persons from a single family were killed in a firing incident which took place in the city on Sunday.

According to police, armed men forcibly entered a house and opened indiscriminate firing, which caused the deaths of four people from a single family. Abdul Rasheed, a resident of Kot Abdul Majeed, was fast asleep with his family when assailants barged into his house and opened fire on him and his kin.

Abdul Rasheed, his two sons Inayat and Wali Muhammad as well as his granddaughter Sumaira died in the attack. After committing the crime, the assailants fled the scene to evade the police.

Police officials claimed that the incident had stemmed out of an old enmity that existed between the Baanban fraternity.
