Nawaz says govt committed to make Pakistan Quaid’s Pakistan in real sense; 68th death anniversary of Father of Nation observed

ISLAMABAD: Acting President Mian Raza Rabbani said on Sunday that democracy would become more stable with the strengthening of national institutions and strictly following the Constitution.He visited the mausoleum of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi and laid a floral wreath and offered Fateha.

Talking to media persons at the mausoleum of the Quaid, Raza Rabbani condemned the atrocities by the Indian forces against in**cent Kashmiris in Occupied Kashmir. He said many youths had been injured seriously with the use of pellet guns by the Indian forces against the protesters. The acting president urged the international community to take steps for stopping the worsening human rights situation in the IHK.Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in a message said, “It’s the firm resolve of the democratic government that they would leave ** stone unturned to make Pakistan the Quaid’s Pakistan in the real sense.”

In his message on the 68th death anniversary of the Father of Nation, Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, he said the nation was fully aware of the fact that they were poised at critical juncture of the country’s history. He said there was ** space for extremism in a country envisioned by the Father of the Nation.

The prime minister said that they had achieved many milestones by acting upon the ideals of the Quaid. The law and order situation in the country had much improved and the backbone of extremist elements had been broken.

He said the government was striving day and night to eliminate loadshedding from the country that remained the biggest hurdle in the eco**mic growth and completion of the China Pakistan Eco**mic Corridor (CPEC) projects would turn around the eco**mic outlook of the whole region.

He expressed the confidence that they would be successful in overcoming all the challenges in the country by seeking guidance from the sayings of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah.

Nawaz Sharif said the best way of paying tribute to the Father of the Nation is to sincerely strive for making Pakistan a peaceful, moderate, welfare and a developed Islamic state in accordance with his vision. He said Quaid-i-Azam is indeed ranked amongst the most visionary politicians and great statesmen of the world. He said the Quaid successfully led the freedom movement of the Muslims of the Subcontinent and established the first Islamic ideological state of the world. He said the Freedom Movement was a living testimony to the Quaid’s political insight and visionary leadership, which would continue to be a bright reference point in the history.

The prime minister said the entire world was aware of the Quaid’s adherence to his principles. He respected the law and the constitution throughout his life and fostered positive values in politics. He imparted such inspiring lessons like unity, faith and discipline to the Muslims of the Subcontinent that they enlightened the people’s lives even today. “I am sure that we would be successful in overcoming all the challenges in our country by seeking guidance from the sayings of Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah,” he said.

Meanwhile, the 68th death anniversary of Father of the Nation Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was observed on Sunday (September 11) with due solemnity.Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Gover**r Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan along with members of the provincial cabinet visited the mausoleum of the Quaid-i-Azam on Sunday and paid rich tributes.

Representatives of the three armed forces laid floral wreaths at the Mazar on the behalf of their respective chiefs. They also offered Fateha. People from various walks of life continued visiting the mausoleum of the great Quaid in Karachi all the day to pay tributes and offer Fateha.Various organisations arranged seminars and ceremonies to pay homage to the Quaid-i-Azam.
