18-year-old girl receives burns in acid attack

PAKPATTAN: An 18-year-old girl received serious burns in an acid attack by an unidentified man at Chak 40/SP.

Saba with her family was sleeping in the house when an unidentified man entered and threw acid on her head and face. As a result, she received serious burns. She was shifted to a hospital at Haveli Lakha but the doctors referred her to a hospital in Lahore due to her critical condition.



Shopkeeper rapes 11-year-old girl

PAKPATTAN: A shopkeeper allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl at Chak 36/EB on Thursday night.

The daughter of Nazeer Ahmad Sheikh went to the shop of Ali Imtiaz for buying household items. However, the shopkeeper allegedly dragged the girl inside his shop and raped her. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
