Murad holds meeting with IG Sindh over Karachi unrest situation
 

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah held a meeting with IG Sindh AD Khawaja on Friday to discuss the recent Karachi unrest situation.

According to details, AD Khawaja briefed the Chief Minister about the recent incidences in Karachi where three buses and a truck were burnt by miscreants. CM Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah stated that offences and criminal acts such as looting, burning, blocking roads and spreading terror will **t be tolerated. He urged SSPs to alert SHOs in their districts regarding any suspicious and untoward activities.

Murad Ali Shah also issued instructions to AD Khawaja to ensure foolproof security during the upcoming Eid days. Regarding the issue of collection of animal hides, he also instructed IG Sindh to pay special attention and matter to it.

On Wednesday night, three buses and one truck were burnt in Karachi. On Thursday, police took into custody three workers of the Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) for allegedly being involved in the act.
