After Romeo the dog and Gioia the cat, it was time for Pietro, a**ther cat, to be rescued from the rubble of Amatrice, central Italy, 16 days after a 6.2 magnitude earthquake.

Firefighters yesterday found Pietro, who was believed to be dead, when they heard a weak miaowing while accompanying the cat's owners to recover personal belongings from their house.*
